In the past, I have made roman shades where I glued on the battens/ribs with fabric glue, but no matter how neatly I did it, the glue could still be seen through the front side of the fabric. This tape was a great solution! It irons on very easily, the ribs slide into it smoothly. I'll never make another roman shade with the fabric glue--which is good because the tape comes in a huge roll so there's plenty left for future shades!
This product worked well. It was an excellent value and saved me lots of time on the 12 shades that I made. I wish it came in a less yardage size but I just decided to make more shades. I am glad I found the website as the price was better than anywhere else. I will definitely buy again from this company.
The tape was truly a life saver but it does take a while to apply it with a hot iron. I ordered way too many but I was safe rather than sorry. I highly recommend anyone making roman shades to purchase this tape for ribs or battens to be inserted into it. It worked like a charm.
