nice02/23/2018 BySande Lollis These are exactly what we were looking for. The only thing I would want to have included are the screws.
Good inside mounts for 3/8” rods10/12/2017 ByScott Pollock These are very good inside mounts for 3/8” solid brass or steel rods. Good strength and easy to mount.
Brass Brackets05/23/2017 ByWILLIAM COULTER Great transaction. Found this item on the internet - NOT available at Amazon or the usual sources! Good communication, prompt and inexpensive shipping and I had the brackets in hand within a week. The only room for improvement would be to include small brass screws with each bracket - but, not a problem any hardware store has them. Accurate, clear specs in the advertisement, Good job guys!
Sash Brackets04/06/2017 ByMichael Guzzetta Good product, great service.
as advertised01/18/2017 ByJane V I have not installed these yet, but they are exactly what I expected and hoped for in looks and in apparent quality
Perfect Brackets08/23/2016 ByLarry W I lost one of these brackets from my antique bed canopy in a move. I was glad to find a suitable replacement. The bracket is well-made and a quality item. Very satisfied.
Barrel Bracketry02/14/2016 ByWindmill Construction A great alternative to the higher priced barrel brackets. They are nicely machined and operate perfectly. Be forewarned that the connecting rivet that holds the threads to the plate is proud of the mounting plate. So your workpiece will need to be eased 1/16th or so with a drill to mount them flat.
good purchase01/05/2015 ByMonsieur George Good quality brackets at a reasonable price. I found the same or similar brackets at two other online retailers: One retailer wanted double what alanrichardtextiles.com is selling the brackets for, and the other retailer wanted almost double as well. I fabricated my own rods because I wanted thicker rods. I used wooden 5/8" rods, available at Home Depots in 36" and 48" lengths. I cut them to size and sanded both ends of the rod so the rod can be thinner at both ends and slide into the brackets. I stained the wooden rods with Minwax Dark Walnut. After they dried I applied 3 coats of clearcoat, allowing about 1-1/2 hours between coats. The stained wooden rods look nice with the brass brackets.
good quality12/16/2014 ByMarc Matches the found hardware in my Victorian home perfectly, except I didn't have to remove layers of paint.
